For the ambitious horseback rider who wants elegant equitation, a calm & focused mindset, and a dynamic competitive edge.
Does This Sound Like You?!
- Posture struggles like slouching, slumping, hollowed back, rounded shoulders, leaning or tipping.
- You don't trust your balance.
- Taking too long to recover after jumps
- Too much movement in your spine so you look a bit of a mess.
- Tight hips, tight shoulders, tight aids - you're constantly gripping instead of communicating clearly with your horse.
- Pelvic floor problems (tightness, leaking, pain)
- Striving for more flexibility/mobility/agility, but your methods are getting you nowhere fast.
- Frustration that you work-out, do yoga, tried Pilates, constantly do cardio, but you just cannot figure out why you aren't stronger in the saddle.
Good News: It Doesn't Have to Be This Way!
Imagine If:
You could ride with confidence in your seat.
You had simple cues to improve your posture.
You were able to look & feel better over fences
.
You knew how to support your spine so that you could maintain your posture with ease.
You could create support in your core so that you could release all that tension and let your horse move instead of gripping.
And
You could breathe better so that you could calm your brain & hone your anxiety.
You were able to engage your core without old-fashioned "core workouts"
You could finally stop feeling frustrated and disheartened that you'll never "get it."
You could implement a simple strategy so that you could feel confident, move dynamically with your horse, and polish your performance.
You had mentorship and guidance from a biomechanics coach - so you never had to feel frustrated, behind, confused, or lost again
Meet Your Coach
Hi! I'm Ashleigh.
I help horseback riders breathe better and fine-tune their biomechanics so that they develop better posture & polish their riding.
As a Breathe & Biomechanics Coach, I've successfully helped nearly 100 high school, collegiate, & professional athletes improve their breathing, align their spine, and up-level their performances.
I created this program to help ambitious horseback riders implement breathing & biomechanics adjustments in the saddle so they can maintain better posture, communicate more clearly with their horse, and surpass their current goals with ease.
Let's breathe better & ride better, together!

What My Clients Are Saying
Don't just take my word for it! My EquiForm™ clients LOVE what they learn & how it helps them ride better. Here's what they want you to know.
Introducing
EquiForm™ Coaching
How Does EquiForm™ Work?
It's quite simple.
There are Three Key Steps to getting
the posture & performance you want.
Build Core & Spine Support
Your center of gravity, the space between your navel and pubic bone, has zero deep muscles supporting your spine.
Instead, it needs what we call "intra-abdominal pressure" to create support for your spine. Without it, your spine feels threatened from too much movement.
Breathing engages your core muscles and builds support to keep you upright.
Train New Motor Control Patterns
Old muscle & movement patterns are holding you back, and keeping you stuck in tension.
Our bodies are masters at compensation and will do anything to keep our eyes on the horizon and our spines safe.
It's time to create genuine stability by unwinding old patterns and training new ones. This involves teaching new brain-to-muscle communication, or motor control.
Strengthen Your New Foundation
Once you build true support & genuine stability, you are now free to safely build strength.
We keep our spines safe and our breathing centered as we scale the work you've been doing for the next step.
EquiForm incorporates breathwork, functional movement, and bodyweight exercises to build a strong, dynamic, powerful system.
Missing even one of these steps means you won't have the elegant posture or fantastic performance you're working so hard to achieve.
But when you use all three in the right order and integrate them seamlessly into your regular routine...
That's When Your Ride Goes Next Level
What does EquiForm™ include?
The EquiForm™ virtual coaching program runs for 6 weeks and will cover everything you need to know to breathe better & adjust your movement patterns so you can get the elegant, strong, and balanced ride you desire.
Breathe Better. Move Better. Ride Better.
Week 1: Support
We get to know each other! This is where I build your totally tailored program, so know that everything here and below is subject to change slightly as I learn what your specific goals are!
I will assess your movement & breathing, then assign your first breathing correctives for the week. We also go over any possible roadblocks to your success (schedule, family, etc).
You'll have access to support videos & session notes within 24 hours.
Week 2: Support
We review how the week went and fine-tune your movements. I'll add the second breathing exercises for the next week and we'll practice together until you're comfortable. You'll start to feel more balanced at this point, as well as have go-to breathing exercises to help you center your mind and build calm.
Session notes & support videos are available within 24 hours.
Week 3: Stability
This week we add your first motor control pendulum These are movements intended to unwind old muscle patterns and train new ones. By the end of this week, you'll start to feel your position improve, especially when you integrate this with the spine cues in your saddle!
We'll practice the movements & coordinate breathwork until you feel excellent with them. Within 24 hours, you'll have sessions notes & support videos.
Week 4: Stability
We review the week’s progress and answer questions that pop up. At this point, we may do a quick reassessment or need to address issues you've uncovered as you're unwinding old patterns and building new ones. You'll be better balanced, more aware of old habits sneaking in, and empowered to address them with or without me!
We also start to add progressions to the breathing exercises you've been using to build up core support.
Week 5: Strength
We are into the Strength components now! We're going to keep scaling your current exercises to make them more challenging. Everything is still body-weight only, no equipment or extra hours at the gym needed. This is where you see how supported and balanced you have become, and how easy these adjustments are to implement. You'll have a great warm-up for your rides, also!
Week 6: Strength & Wrap-Up
Our last session - how did time go so fast?
We do our final assessment, take "After" photos, and discuss your next steps.
I will give you a personalized plan for continuing to advance your breathing work, your motor control exercises, and integration with your riding. At this point, your posture is taller & more elegant, your position more balanced, and your performance feels just like you imagined it would.

What My Clients Are Saying
Don't just take my word for it! My EquiForm™ clients LOVE what they learn & how it helps them ride better. Here's what they want you to know.
You are a TERRIFIC fit for EquiForm™ if:
⭐You are a dedicated horseback rider! You love riding, you're eager to learn more, and you want to be the best partner your horse could ask for.
⭐You are passionately curious about your body! Our bodies want us to be safe and well; sometimes we just don't communicate super well. You want to decode and dive in and learn how to embrace the powerful tools you already have.
⭐You want empowerment. You are driven to work independently and commit to implementing suggestions into your daily life and your ride. You understand that no coaching program will work unless you implement the strategies being taught.
⭐You want to be a better rider. You're ready for a stronger position, more elegant posture, and clearer communication with your horse.
EquiForm™ is NOT for you if:
❌You don't really care about breathing, biomechanics, or learning about your body. You don't find it interesting, you don't want to learn more, you don't want to perform at a higher level.
❌You don't want empowerment. You want someone to do the work for you - give you the massage, stretch your limbs, put you in your positions. You aren't read to take action on your own.
❌You're not going to do the work. You aren't coachable, you already know the answers, but you don't really feel motivated to make any changes.
❌You don't want to be a better rider. You're happy hacking around, just having fun; but you don't have goals that you are driven to meet.

What's Included? In a 90-minute session, we begin unmounted. Bring your yoga mats! Over 45 minutes, I chat with the riders to get an idea of what they are working on, what is challenging for them, and what their goals are for the coming months. I ask about things like posture, tension, rotational tendencies, leaning/tilting, arching/hollowing, unclear aids, etc. We work on breathing, spine awareness, and how signaling different parts of our body can trigger better muscle movement patterns. Our second half is spent implementing new breathing patterns, biomechanics adjustments, and movement patterns in the saddle. This can look like spine alignment for better posture at walk/trot/canter; improving the quality & stability of the half-seat/jumping position; smoothing up & down transitions; and more. Riders will have the ability to sign up to work 1:1 with me in my private coaching series (virtually or in-person); auditors may ask questions in between sessions.

Travel over 350 miles must include flight, overnight accommodation, and either car rental or transportation. Flights must include oversize checked luggage unless a massage table can be provided, or your riders are comfortable lying on yoga mats. I will make my own travel arrangements and share receipts for reimbursement. I will prioritize expedient travel over cheap (ie direct flights over multiple lay-overs). Cancellation Policies Deposits are refundable until 7 days before the start of our clinic (ie the Saturday prior to a Saturday start) If the clinic is canceled before the 7 day period, I will refund the entire deposit LESS my travel & accommodation expenses (not applicable for clinics under 150 miles from Millis) Any clinic canceled within the 7 day period forfeits the deposit in full. If the clinics cannot be rescheduled within 3 months, I will refund 100% of the deposit.

EquiForm Unmounted WorkshopI've designed this workshop as an unmounted introduction to breathwork & biomechanics. Whether you have back pain troubles, want to improve your posture, or develop better calming strategies this clinic is a great introduction to EquiForm. Hosting a workshop before a clinic is a great way to gauge interest and build excitement for the next step! We dive right in to improving how we breathe, learning postural alignment cues, trying breathing exercises for different experiences, and figuring out what secrets our tight muscles have been trying to tell us for years. 60-90 minutes (depending on the number of participants and how much fun we’re having!) $75/pp Limit 10 people Auditing $45/pp Setting: Riding ring or field or other weather-appropriate space. What to wear & bring: - Athleisure/clothes you would wear to the gym/yoga/grocery store. - Yoga mat - Water bottle - Notebook & writing utensil if that's your vibe
-
I don't have a horse. Can I still participate?Yes! If a barn has a group of unmounted riders, it is considered the EquiForm Workshop. Limited to 10 people, the cost is $75/pp.

Hi! I'm Ashleigh.
I'm a Licensed Muscular Therapist & Certified Personal Trainer with a passion for helping horseback riders breathe better, move better, & ride better. I absolutely love working with horseback riders to help them build core support, stabilize their spines, and strengthen their postures to elevate their riding performance & connect deeper with their horses.
The truth is, elevating your ride can be incredibly challenging. And if you don't have a qualified expert keeping an eye on your movement patterns & breathing, you can get super frustrated and stay stuck in old habits.
That's why I am so excited to create a space for you to learn how to improve your breathing & movement habits so you can achieve the ride & connection with your horse you've been striving for all along!
Let’s do this TOGETHER!
Your friend & coach,
Ashleigh
